Welcome to my 'Travel Inspired Abstract Art' web site. This is a series of digital abstract artworks which are inspired from natural structures and forms. I find digital photography to be a very good media to work with, since I can capture and edit images from the camera itself.
During my travels, South America, India, Australia and Sri Lanka, have been the main sources of inspiration behind what I am doing with my artwork now. Which is why these are the main galleries shown on this website.
In particular, my visit to Machu Puchua in Peru which is in South America was ideally suited for my type of creativity. I wanted to gain life experience in terms of meeting new people; completing the project, as well as being inspired by the superb Incan architecture. Which I am sure you will agree is definately historically challenging.
My photography represents an important aspect of me as an artist as is an accessible medium which one can use to capture the spectacular insights of nature. I am hoping to further develop this skill and publish the results in this website at a later date.
